Leinaala is a small (24) unit oceanfront property with a relaxed and private atmosphere. This oceanfront property in Kihei is a hidden gem. It is one property where guests return year after year. The property features an oceanfront pool, gas grill for your use and tennis courts out on the beach. There is a real feeling of the Aloha Spirit with the wonderful resident managers that are there to help you in any way.

Each unit has a direct 180 degree unobstructed ocean view. Whale watch, windsurf, walk the beach and enjoy the most magnificent sunsets imaginable.

Unit #404 is a nicely furnished upstairs 1 Bd 1 Bath unit that can sleep 4. There is a fully equipped kitchen, AC in both the living room and the bedroom as well as ceiling fans for your comfort. In addition there is a queen bed in the master bedroom and a queen sofa bed in the living room. The condo features Cable TV/DVD/VCR and CD players and also has complimentary high speed wireless internet service. There is also outside dining on your own private lanai. The ocean views from this unit are magnificent.

WE LOVED THE VIEW....I LOVED THE DECOR...WAS UPDATED AND CUTE..BATHROOM WAS VERY NICE AND UPDATED..THE LANAI WAS A GREAT SIZE, I LOVED THE AIR FILTER SYSTEM HAD AN ELEVATOR...THE ONLY THING MAYBE WOULD BE TO UPDATE WITH FLATE SCREEN T.V.'S AND PUT ONE IN THE BEDROOM, ON THE WALL AND I THINK THE KITCHEN NEEDS A LITTLE TLC, CUPBOARDS AND POSSIBLE THE LITTLE STOVE MIGHT NEED TO BE SERVICED THE BURNERS...AND I WOULD THINK THE MICROWAVE COULD BE INCORPORATED WITH THE OVER THE STOVE VENTING SYSTEM AS WELL...BUT OVER ALL GREAT VIEWS....AND MAYBE WITH THE SIZE POOL MAYBE AN ADDED HOT TOP AND SCHUFFLEBOARD TO PLAY RIGHT THERE ON THAT LOVELY LARGE GRASSY AREA....BUT LOVED IT WOULD LOVE TO STAY LONGER IF WE COULD...THE ANDERSONS

If you are looking for an affordable, quiet, truly ocean front location in a small building/complex - this is your paradise! Fantastic ocean views. Great central location away from the crowded tourist hub, but close enough to quickly access major shopping areas and beaches. The only downside was the shared internet network, which was sometimes slow during peak usage periods. This was our first visit to Leinaala and we will definitely be returning!

I found this rental through Trip Advisor after a lengthy search. Stayed in unit 404.

This is an older condo building, but in fantastic condition. If you are a person that HAS to have "sparkly new" then its not for you. The condo was everything I had hope for! Location, price, for budget minded...what a bargain!! The grounds are immaculate, Paula and Bill, on site managers are great. They are gracious, and a wonderful source of information. If you want to get away form the masses and have a more intimate experience, this place beats the "heck" out of a hotel or the larger condos. We will be back. Thank you for a wonderful time!

Leianaala was a wonderful condo, and of the four groups of friends who stayed all over the island during my visit, Leianaala was by far the best condo. The view was amazing, the staff was nice, we were right by the middle of Kihei, but far enough for it to be quiet. The beach right in front of our condo was cute and basically deserted, so it felt like our own private beach.



I will definitely stay here again when I visit Maui. The only complaint is that the pull out bed was lumpy. It was much more comfortable to sleep on the couch than the pull out.



Oh, and the price! $89/a night for a gorgeous view, a well decorated condo, full kitchen, beach toys and beach towels? Yes, please!

The Perfect Oceanview Condo

This really is the perfect condo for two with an ocean view. Very clean, beautiful, quiet, and reasonably priced. We loved it and plan to stay here again next year. The only comments I would make it to put in a king sized bed and upgrade the internet service which was spotty and slow. We loved this place.

This was our first experience in staying in an oceanfront location in Maui. This condo is awesome. It is so wonderful to just be able to walk across a beautiful park setting to the shore or to the pool or just chose to sit on the lanai and soak up the sun while you watch the whales and watch the people below spending time in the park area. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 on the location, was because in this unit the complete view of the ocean is blocked by some of the trees, but it really didn't make that much difference to us. We loved how comfortable, clean and well furnished the unit was and would stay there again and highly recommend it to others.

Very quiet, peaceful condo building. Our condo was lovely and had a great full-on ocean view. Tennis courts in front are well-maintained and convenient. The beach if better for long walks than for hanging out and swimming

The place was just as the pictures showed and the lanai blew us away when we first walked in. It was fantastic to be able to sit out there and see and hear the ocean without any obstructions. It was also nice to have the big open lawn below, great for kids or just to exercise. The pool was small, but we only used it for a short time so that was fine. The complex had several beach chairs and beach umbrellas for loan which we took advantage of. The apartment itself had beach towels and mini cooler for guest's use. The bathroom was newly renovated and was very clean. The only bad part of the whole rental was that there were no tissues or toilet paper when we arrived, so we had to go out to the store and purchase them ourselves.



All in all, a fantastic rental for the price.

Loved that this apartment was in Kihei, but on a very quiet stretch of beach. We felt like we had the pool and the whole beach shore to ourselves. If we wanted action, we could hop on a bike, stroll, or drive a few mins south into town for food, entertainment, or public beaches and people watching.

We got off to a good start with Kathy's personal phone call to confirm our reservation. The web site informed us of the property's amenities, cost, and availability, and processing our booking without a hitch. Once there, Bill and Paula gave us the keys, parking info, and answers all our questions (shopping, road conditions etc). We got upstairs to a really pleasant surprise of a fully-equipped and beautifully furnished unit (dishwasher and recipe book were unexpected!) with that full western view Kihei provides. (Sunset pictures every night.) Every time we needed any information or advice, Bill or Paula were right there - you couldn't ask for more helpful managers. The week went by too fast - we'll have to come back as soon as we can. Thanks for a great holiday.
