Rentals Maui Cancellation Policy for COVID-19

With growing concern regarding the coronavirus, here is Rentals Maui’s cancellation policy, updated for COVID-19.

POLICY FOR TRAVELERS WITH RESERVATIONS ARRIVING APRIL 1, 2020 – MAY 31, 2020

We have relaxed our cancellation policy to allow travelers to reschedule their stay to dates in the future, with the following stipulations:

  • Future stay needs to be within 365 days of your previous arrival date.
  • Minimum night requirements may apply during certain periods.
  • Preferred dates need to be available.
  • New dates must be selected within 45 days of notice.
  • Future stay needs to be in the same unit as the original reservation.
  • The credit for the future stay will be at the same nightly rate as originally booked.
  • Rate may be higher depending on season, and guest is responsible for difference.
  • Future stay will be non-refundable, no additional changes.

POLICY FOR TRAVELERS WITH RESERVATIONS ARRIVING JUNE 1, 2020 – JUNE 30, 2020

We have relaxed our cancellation policy due to COVID-19 to give June travelers more time to make a decision regarding their reservation. Rather than a 60 day cancellation policy, June travelers now have a 30 day cancellation policy. We are asking June travelers to please consider rescheduling their stay rather than cancelling altogether. If your arrival date is more than 30 days away, you may reschedule your stay to dates in the future, with the following stipulations:

  • Future stay needs to be within 365 days of your previous arrival date.
  • Minimum night requirements may apply during certain periods.
  • Preferred dates need to be available.
  • New dates must be selected within 45 days of notice.
  • The credit for the future stay will be at the same nightly rate as originally booked.
  • Rate may be higher depending on season, and guest is responsible for difference.
  • Future stay will be non-refundable, no additional changes.

RESERVATIONS WITHIN 30 DAYS PRIOR TO ARRIVAL:

If you decide to cancel your reservation, you will receive a refund of your security deposit (if any), cleaning fee, and resort fee (if any).
As we are giving you an additional 30 days to make your decision, you will not be able to reschedule your stay if you find yourself within 30 days of your arrival date.
