If you are hoping to kick off the holiday season with a Maui family vacation, we hope that you have already booked your 2 bedrooms to 3 bedroom vacation getaway and are looking forward to enjoying the warm Hawaiian sunshine. And if your bags are packed and all the major details are sorted, all that there is really left to consider is what are you planning to do when you finally get here!
If you are looking for an awesome Maui event to attend, then mark your calendars for both December 20th and the 21st as the Maui Academy of Performing Arts (MAPA) presents the retold story of the classic The Nutcracker. Set to be held at the Castle Theater of the Maui Arts and Cultural Center (MACC), you can enjoy this family classic right before Christmas celebrations.
Since 1974, MAPA reaches 50,000 talented individuals each year through many performing arts programs. The academy is committed to allowing Maui’s best talent to shine brightly in professional, quality productions. So it should really come to no surprise that you are in for a magical night filled with flair as performers dance the night away to the Sugar Plum Fairy and other Nutcracker favorite numbers!
Opening night kicks off at 7:30 pm on Friday while Saturday’s performance will begin at 3 pm. Tickets are currently on sale online or by classing the MACC box office for $24, $30, and $18.
