Kihei Bay Vista #D-202 is a 1 bedroom, 1 bath garden view unit on the second floor. It features a fully-equipped kitchen, 2 flat-screen TVs with DVD players (one Blu-ray), and free Wifi. There is a window unit air conditioner in the living room and a portable a/c in the bedroom, and ceiling fans in both the living room and bedroom. This unit does not have a phone. There is a queen bed, a new (Jan 2022) queen sofa bed with a cool gel memory foam mattress), and a walk-in shower. For outdoor activities, #D-202 is supplied with beach chairs, beach towels, a cooler, and sand toys. In addition to the kitchen items listed in the amenities list, Kihei Bay Vista #D-202 also has a deep fryer and electric griddle. Sleeps 4.

The condo was wonderful. We loved sitting on the balcony overlooking the swimming pool. The pool was very nice. The beaches were across the street or a 5 minute drive away.

I absolutely enjoyed the rental. Could have used a little more shower soap but that's literally my only complaint. Great vicinity to the beach, quiet and beautiful surroundings, near many shops and restaurants. Inside was very clean and well equipped kitchen. Bed is comfy but on the firm side. Good AC. Overall fantastic stay!

The place was just great, had we we needed, we were able to cook, wash clothes,use the pool meet great neighbors. If we ever go back to Maui we will absolutely consider this place again.

Our unit was lovely, exactly as described. The kitchen was well stocked and set up. We had a lovely second floor unit at the back corner overlooking the pool in the middle. We found that everything on the property was always spotless and the two community BBQ's were cleaned each day. Pool area and gardens were beautifully maintained. Lots of parking. Beautiful beach right across the street. We met the Property Manager on the first day (Lindsay) when we had a problem with the air conditioner. Since it was Saturday she wasn't sure how quickly she could get someone over, which we completely understood. We went out for a couple hours and when we came back everything was fixed. Outstanding service! I wouldn't hesitate to rent here again.

The only problem was the key entry system is difficult and if you have not seen a lock box such as this you may have problems with it. It seemed stuck and tricky to open. I had the care taker help the next day and he had problems with it as well. Other than that all was great enjoyed the place

This place was amazing! Location was fantastic, right across the street from the beach and turtles. Spending evenings in the hot tub. Condo was clean and has everything you need. Grounds are impeccable and there’s plenty of parking. I truly can’t say enough!

My wife and I visited Maui for our honeymoon/anniversary. There were MANY condos to choose from. It wasn't an easy task to narrow it down but we're very happy we chose this one. Located in Kihei, we found it very close to all our activities. It was very easy to get anywhere we needed to go (Road to Hana, Haleakala, Lahaina, etc.). The unit was beautiful, clean, very well equipped. If/when we return to Maui, we would definitely strongly consider renting at this location again!

The Bay Vista is an older property that is in a very good location.
The pool and hot tub are very nice and well maintained. Our room D202 could definitely use some updating on the furniture department with the wicker chairs and couch not being very comfortable and the bed giving us sore backs everyday. It comes with all kinds of goodies for the beach and the kitchen has everything you need although all that stuff is very old too.

Our family of 4 with the youngest child being a 11 year old boy, stayed here for 5 nights when we visited Maui right before the 4th of July in 2021.
Check in instructions provided was clear, our unit wasn't the easiest to locate in the dark, but if you just park close to the entrance of the parking lot, walk through the path, it is right next to the pool. The whole complex is small and definitely easy to find in daylight.
The unit has ample space for the 4 of us, the high ceiling and bamboo floors definitely made the difference. I also like the easy walk in shower, and the kitchen was equipped with more than what we needed for our stay. In unit washer and dryer was convenient, the laundry detergent ran out, and we had to get some on our own. There's room ac units and cool the rooms, but it was so comfortable at night, we didn't even need the ac by leaving the balcony door open.
Location was great, and easy to get to airport and everything else.

Loved having a washer and dryer. Huge perk of being across the street from the beach and sea turtles every morning was amazing. Condo was extremely clean and had everything we needed including, beach towels, beach chairs, ice packs, and a cooler. Pool and hot tub were so clean.

Amazing place to stay away from all the hustle and bustle but close enough, especially with rental car, to get where you need to go. I love cooking a meal on vacation and this was the perfect place to do so and enjoy the company of my other half. Hot tub at the end of a long day of hiking was an added perk!!!!

This unit is in a good location, close to the pool, a couple hundred yards to the beach across S Kihei Rd and yet very quiet as we could hardly hear traffic. The unit is well appointed with linens, cooking utensils and beach toys. The beach is a great location to view turtles near the whale museum and whales in the bay or just enjoy the sun.

Our stay was wonderful. The condo employees keep the swimming pool very very clean. The grounds look great. It was a very nice place and well stocked. The only thing I need to express, is kill the Roosters out back. I thought Roosters were suppose to wake you up in the morning and not all night long. Lol

Had everything we needed. We should have stayed here our whole stay in Maui, very central. Perfect, calm, turtles at the beach just in front. Walking distance to beach (just the other side of the street. Only downside was the rooster singing at 5am, but he shuts up after (and they are everywhere anyways in Maui chanting).

This was a wonderful unit to stay in, the living areas were quite large and great for socialising. The kitchen was fully stocked with pots, pan etc, and there were some supplies in the cupboard (I’m guessing a mixture of stuff from previous guests and stuff supplied by the owner). The coffee machine was fabulous and the coffee supplied by Maui Rentals was delicious!
The beach was just across the road, and there was a small fishing pond that attracts turtles. It was a lovely place to go.
We had dinner at Cafe Ole, it was very tasty, but be aware there are only ceiling fans, no air conditioning.
We had a wonderful stay and hope to be able to come back soon.

The condo that we had was great. It was fully stocked in the kitchen, in the living room, and we had items for our water activities. The location was great. The only downside to it was the accumulation of sand on the driveway, as strong winds blew sand from the nearby beach onto the driveway. Minor inconvenience. The pool area was nice.
The condo gave us a nice place to relax after our sightseeing activities around the island of Maui. And with it being footsteps away from beach, we were able to go swimming or enjoy the sunset.

Great location stocked with everything you need for fun at the beach! Beautifully decorated condo with the convenience of a full kitchen and washer and dryer. Right across the street from the beach, but also enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi. Our only complaint was that the wifi was super slow.

We were happily surprised by the great location, the beauty of the property and the nice amnuities. We will recommend this place to our friends.
The only negative point is the presence of roaches in the kitchen. And do not take me wrong. We have spent 5 years in the south Mississippi and are not scared of bugs. The place just need a good treatment against roaches.

Staying at a condo this year for vacation was our best choice. Totally exceeded our expectations. Beautifully decorated. Air conditioning in bedroom nice! Everything was lovely and the grounds / pool / BBQ are clean and kept up. The beach across the street is great - it was nice to see the turtles sleeping. Great location! Close to everything. Great price. Thanks!
