Wailana Sands #102 is a 1 bedroom, 1 bath unit at a quiet boutique property across the street from Mai Poina Beach Park. NOTE- This unit is on the ground floor and has direct, unencumbered access to the courtyard and pool area. This makes things convenient but could potentially present a danger if someone in your party is a non-swimmer.

The unit includes a fully-equipped kitchen and complimentary wifi. The bedroom provides a queen bed and a ceiling fan, and you'll find a futon, a cable television, and a ceiling fan in the living room. Enjoy your meals from your lanai while taking in the beautiful garden and pool views. There are even a couple barbecues available for guest use. When you are ready to head to the beach, Wailana Sands #102 conveniently supplies beach chairs, beach towels, and a cooler. NOTE- there is no A/C in this unit however there is a sunshade off the lanai. Sleeps 2.

Same day bookings and those arriving within 24 hours of making the reservation require a phone call to Rentals Maui for confirmation.

Bookings made within 7 days of arrival will require an ID check and screening prior to confirmation.

Longer stays require additional terms and conditions. Please contact Rentals Maui for inquiries longer than 60 nights.

We work to maintain a very accurate website. At times furniture, decor or flooring may be upgraded and pictures are not updated yet. This would not change the seating, sleeping, function or views of the condo. Amenities are accurately and clearly listed for your convenience.

Wailana Sands is located in North Kihei near the Whale Sanctuary, Kalepolepo Beach, and an ancient Hawaiian fishpond. Wailana Sands has a large pool, gas grills, and a coin-operated common laundry area. Whale watch, windsurf, walk the beach, and enjoy the most amazing sunsets imaginable. Wailana Sands is centrally located to shops and restaurants, and is just minutes from the championship golf courses of Wailea and Makena. It is an ideal launchpad to head west toward Lahaina and Kaanapali, north toward the airport, or south to the Wailea area. This is one of the best values in Kihei.

This is a cute condo very suitable for a budget conscious couple. We loved the cleanliness and how well supplied the unit was the moment we crossed the threshold. The pool and garden is so inviting! The living room area is minimally furnished with a futon, tv and coffee table. The condo is full of chairs, beach towels and items to enhance vacations. It was much hotter than usual and there is no a/ c. Our only suggestion would be that the futon is uncomfortable as the only seating in living area.

Loved my condo, perfect size for a single guest for one week. PFantastic location, penty of amenities, parking was a breeze, clean, 24/7 pool access is fantastic, quiet at nights, quality shower materials. I hope to return in a few years.

If you struggle to sleep in 80 degrees without AC, this unit may not be for you, but I considered it part of the experience of going to Hawaii in August

Loved the location of this condo. Super close to the beach, nice clean pool. Had everything we needed in the kitchen and items to take to the pool with us. The only thing that would have made this stay better would have been AC. It got pretty warm during the day and took a bit to cool off with fans. We had to leave the back door open with the screen and a fan to pull cold air in. The made it manageable. I would stay here again.

Unit was very clean and quiet. Lanai was perfect and close to pool and BBQ. Unit had everything we needed. There was never a problem with parking. Close to beach and saw turtles every day. Great location. Laundry room was close, but unit could use a laundry basket. Fans kept unit comfortable. We kept windows and screen door open to get breeze going through. Would stay here again.

Really liked this little condo. It’s perfect for 2 people. Beach is just a 3 minute walk. Pool was clean and yard beautiful. You really do need a rental car though because there’s not much close to walk to for shopping or restaurants.

Aloha! My husband and I had a wonderful time here! We will definitely be coming back! This location was perfect walking distance to the ocean and to many shopping and restaurants. The place was also very quiet, all we heard was the birds. It was so nice. The pool and bbqs were perfect touch to our relaxation :) Mahalo!

This gem is what I would call right off “the strip” in Maui. It’s location makes it feel very private a “tucked away.” Just across the street is a lovely beach and a short Uber ride you find yourself in the middle of all the tourist action if you want. The condo has everything to make the stay enjoyable, particularly the beach chairs! I’ll definitely stay here again on return trips to Maui!

The location was central, easy to get from all directions on the island .
Everything in the place was handy and clean, enough to get by for our arrival. Clean, perfect for two adults in our own space. Our both bed were comfy!
The kitchen was well groomed with everything useful.

The pool and sight was delightful. We felt at home and secure in this quiet heavenlike place!

This condo was clean, comfortable, and the kitchen and bathroom had recent updates. It was nice to be able to cook meals here. The management was helpful and friendly. If you are planning on traveling the island and using this condo as a sleeping spot it's location is midpoint to several attractions. There are also plenty of good restaurants and shopping close by. If you want to be located directly on a nice, usable beach for swimming and relaxing or want to have a view, I would recommend staying elsewhere.
