Island Surf #502 is a 1 bedroom, 1 bath ocean view unit on the 5th floor. It features room unit A/C in both the living room and bedroom, ceiling fans, a fully-equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, a flat-screen TV, telephone service with free long distance to the continental U.S. and Canada, and free WIFI. There is a king bed in the master bedroom. For outdoor activities, Island Surf #502 is supplied with beach chairs, beach towels, and a cooler. Sleeps 2.
Same-day bookings and those arriving within 24 hours of making the reservation require a phone call to Rentals Maui for confirmation.
Bookings made within 7 days of arrival will require an ID check and screening prior to confirmation.
Longer stays require additional terms and conditions. Please contact Rentals Maui for inquiries longer than 60 nights.
We work to maintain a very accurate website. At times furniture, decor or flooring may be upgraded and pictures are not updated yet. This would not change the seating, sleeping, function or views of the condo. Amenities are accurately and clearly listed for your convenience.
Island Surf is located in the heart of Kihei, across the street from Kalama Park and Cove Park, and within walking distance of shops, restaurants, and activity shops. The Island Surf building itself has several restaurants and stores. There is a pool and BBQ grills on the 2nd floor. Island Surf is a short 3-mile drive from the golf courses and tennis courts of Wailea Resort.

The rental property was in the perfect location. Close to everything from food, shopping and beaches. Sunsets were absolutely amazing. The condo itself was in good shape. A little dated in a few places but nothing major that would take away from the experience. I would stay here again and recommend it to others.

Get up in the morning and the ocean is right there across the street, and the the room is perfect, everything we needed to live on, everything was clean and ready to use, we loved it and if we go back that is where we will stay.

Island Surf is the ideal location! The view of the ocean from the balcony, especially at sunset is amazing. I really enjoyed being able to walk to nice restaurants, a grocery store, shopping, and nightlife as well as only having to take a short drive to the local golf course - so convenient. The unit is very clean with all the kitchen essentials I needed. I will definitely stay here again and look forward to returning in the future.

This was our third trip to Maui and we love staying at Island Surf. The condo was clean and the Kitchen was stocked very well (even though we did not cook a lot while there). Walkable to a lot of bars, restaurants and shopping. We did have a pipe under the sink leak but the manager was very quick to respond and got it fixed same day. Would recommend.

The building is a little plain, but the view is to die for. Fantastic sunsets. Very convenient for casual dining, watching surfers, walking to the beach. The road is noisy during the day w traffic and car radios, but all’s quiet at night for sleeping. Bld is quiet. Staff is responsive.

Loved the stay. Only thing was the sofa bed wasn't comfortable to sit on and the air conditioner has a timer with a 3-hour limit so you have to get up in the middle of the night to restart it. Otherwise, the view was the best. amenities, location and ease of rental were excellent. Loved our stay.

My husband and I stayed here for two weeks in January. The pros: fabulous location in easy walking distance to restaurants, bars, grocery store, South Maui Garden, very clean unit, decent price. The only con is the daytime traffic noise on Kihei Rd. It is loud during the day. It does calm down nicely at night and sleeping was not a problem.

This was a nice facility and centrally located near the beach, shops, and restaurants. The air conditioning system was different, as it's design included a timed window unit in the den and a timed floor unit in the bedroom. It stayed cool when it was on but when it goes off during the night, it gets warm. Overall, it was a good stay.

The condo had everything we needed for a wonderful vacation on Maui. A quiet and clean place with all the dishes and utensils needed including a washer and dryer which was great so we didn’t have bring home Sandy wet clothes/swimsuits. A beautiful view from the huge slider door and nice lanai. Walking distance to everything we needed from the park and beach across the street, shopping, restaurants, liquor store, board rentals etc. we loved the Kihei cafe for breakfast, and Lava Rock restaurant for dinner. if you’re looking for a real Hawaiian / local experience and not the resort vibe Kihei is the place to stay!

This is our second stay at Island Surf, but the first in this unit. The unit was well appointed, clean, and stocked with plenty bathroom towels, sheets, etc. It also had beach chairs, towels, coolers, a beach umbrella, and snorkel gear available to use. The kitchen had all the appliances necessary, coffee maker, toaster, and even a blender. The arrival and departure instructions were timely and detailed. The location of Island Surf is perfect. Its close to the beaches, restaurants and the new coffee shop/Blue Door Bread Co.(right behind the condo building). There was some pretty significant traffic noise with the roadway right in front of the building, but we knew that ahead of time. However, putting up with some noise was worth it for the perfect location. We would highly recommend this unit to anyone heading to Kihei

We had a wonderful time in Maui, and the condo was perfect. It was much cheaper than the other options, but still had everything we wanted. The description of the property on VRBO matched our experience exactly. The interior of the apartment was attractive, clean, and everything was well-maintained. The king bed was extremely comfortable. The location was ideal -- right across the street from the beach in Kihei, with a view of the ocean. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony and watching the sunsets (although the cars on the street below can be noisy). Kihei has a lot to offer in terms of good restaurants and bars, but we also enjoyed the proximity to the resorts in Wailea. Everything on Maui is within driving distance, though, so we managed to explore most of the island over the course of our 6-day stay. Overall, highly recommended.

The view from 502 is great! We love watching the people walking by and the people learning to surf. This is close to everything in Kihei. Given the close proximity it the beach, we were surprised by no boogie board though.

We had a wonderful stay at the condo. The unit is newly renovated with modern amenities even though the building is dated. The condo is very clean with great ocean view from the balcony. It has A/C both at living room and bedroom. The issue I had is it doesn't come with enough trash bags. With the humid tropical weather, the trash needs to be taken out everyday. Overall it was a great stay. I would recommend it.

We had a wonderful stay here. The condo had a beautiful view and everything we needed. The location is actually perfect, next to great restaurants and bars, and a 10 minute walk to the Kam 1 beach. The only thing we didn't love was that the AC was on a timer, so we kept waking up in the middle of the night very hot. But we'd definitely stay here again!

The check-in and check-out processes were extremely easy. Once we got to the rental, everything was clean and they supplied chairs, towels, and a cooler for our use. The view was amazing (and not too loud). Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

Fabulous location walking distance to beaches and restaurants. One block from famous Kihei cafe. Stunning view. Comfortable bed, pillows, and couch. Updated bathroom and kitchen with the basics. Truly love this place.

The condo was everything described and more. Clean and updated. The lanai faces the beach, so we had a gorgeous sunset view every night. Close to places to eat and things to do. Loved it !

I would highly recommend this place to stay on you next trip to Maui. The location was great. The condo was clean and the bed comfy. It had everything we needed for our stay. The view from the lanai was amazing. Communication from the owner was great and checking and check out process extremely simple. I would stay here again in a heart beat!

The condo is newly updated and freshly decorated. Everything was super clean and tidy. King sized bed was comfortable and bathroom had a great shower. The view from the balcony was awesome!! Owners as well as management company were a pleasure to work with. Loved the eco friendly cookware and touches throughout. Will be coming back ASAP! Fantastic location, loved Kihei best overall. Condo is walking distance to grocery store, shops, restaurant and beach!

Perfect visit to Maui! Condo was beautifully decorated and well stocked to meet all of our needs. Bed is extremely comfortable. Lanai provided breath-taking views of the sunsets and the park across the street. Easy walking distance to shopping, dining, and fun!
