The number one place to visit in America happened to be the Grand Canyon National Park, followed by Yosemite National Park in California, and the Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming. Honolulu and Kauai also made the list, with Honolulu coming in at number 9 and Kauai at number 16. Go Hawaii!
According to a news article, the publication also listed Maui on the list for top places to visit in the world for its natural beauty. Our little Hawaiian island home was ranked alongside New Zealand’s South Island, Paris, Rome, Tahiti, French Polynesia, and London.
Maui was chosen after the publication analyzed over 700 places and combined feedback from editors, travelers, and experts to determine what areas qualified to make the list. Destinations were graded among ten categories, including sights, culture, food, nightlife, adventure, and romance.
